Course Name	Fire Alarm Systems - Application

Description	This course will cover applications of fire alarm systems and operation, while also exploring the testing and inspection requirements of various codes and standards. Principles and technology of fire detection devices, signal appliances, control equipment and ancillary devices controlled by the system will also be included, as will traditional field wiring circuits, the connection of field devices, as well as the basics of microprocessor based systems using addressable devices and remote annunciation. Lastly, you will become familiar with other life safety support systems, such as smoke control and elevator recall.
