Description | This course covers TSSA Gas Technician training modules 6, Technical Manuals, Specifications, Drawings, and Graphs, and module 8, Introduction to Piping and Tubing Systems. Module 6 provides training to the learner to access accurate, current, and relevant information for servicing or installing and to locate, read, and interpret a variety of written documentation. Module 8 provides the learner with the knowledge of various types of piping and tubing systems used for gas, including valves and fittings and the training for the sizing depending on many factors such as fittings and length of the pipe, the supply pressure, the direction change and installation location, etc. whether the piping or tubing system is installed underground, above ground, or on a rooftop. As well, in this module, this course deals with pressure testing and inspections, which must be performed after installations, according to Code.
