|Description||By completing this program, you will be well equipped to make necessary recommendations to help clients achieve their financial goals. This program gives you the basic credentials and knowledge needed in today&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;#039;s changing financial services industry. Upon completion of the program and associated industry exams, you may be eligible to write the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam leading to the CFP designation. This program includes Financial Planning Certificate curriculum as well as two Canadian Securities Institute courses.
Financial Advisors wishing to sell mutual funds may want to consider completing CCSC-103. Financial Advisors with an interest in stocks, bonds and mutual funds should consider completing CCSC 101 and 102.
Employment opportunites exist with most financial institutions including: banks, credit unions, brokerage firms and trust companies in various positions that may include, personal banker, financial advisor, mortgage and loans officer, as well as self-employment as an independent financial planner.
