|Description||This program has been developed and offered specifically for both individuals who are new and who are currently working in the condominium field. Condominium management is a growth industry throughout the province of Ontario. A combination of theory and practical problems are incorporated into all courses providing opportunities for participants to develop their knowledge, skills and abilities in managing effective condominiums.
There are four compulsory ACMO courses which are the prerequisite to writing the Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) examination set by the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario. The passing grade for all ACMO courses is 60%, provided that you ALSO achieve a passing grade of 51% on the final exam.
After successful completion of the 4 compulsory courses, students can write the comprehensive RCM exam and must achieve an overall grade of at least 75% to achieve your qualification. In addition, you must have at least two consecutive years of experience in condominium property management, completing the required tasks as outlined on the RCM Designation form. |Admission Requirements||Certification requires 2 years experience in condominiuim property management. However, students without experience are elgible for a student membership. See the ACMO Website for membership details.|
