| Description | This course will focus on current topics in assessment and evaluation. Through their own research, learners will engage in a critical analysis of emerging areas in assessment theory and design that question our perception of traditional practices used to evaluate learning. Using an open pedagogy model, learners will co-create an open educational resource to share their critical reflections with other educators beyond the course. A combination of asynchronous and optional synchronous classes will maximize discussion and sharing of ideas between peers. It is recommended that students complete TLHE 703 or have teaching experience prior to taking this course. |
