Description | Reducing the carbon footprint has become an important worldwide initiative. This course will explore the methods of generating various types of renewable energy (zero and low carbon emission) such as solar photovoltaic, wind, tidal, hydrokinetic, biomass, etc. Also, renewable energy storage systems such as fuel cell, thermal, batteries, etc. will be described. Considerations for installation and maintenance requirements, as well as procedures of these systems, will be explained. |
