| Description | The Mental Health First Aid Training is designed to helppeople provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health problem or is experiencing a mental health crisis. MHFA Canada content adheres to the first aid guidelines being established by MHFA Australia. The guidelines cover a range of developing mental disorders and mental health crisis situations. While people often know a lot about physical health, most people have little knowledge about mental health. This lack of understanding promotes fear and stigma. This course promotes how we see the need and future direction for change in our understanding of mental health. |
