Description | Course Description This course provides students with an overview of learning theory as it applies to museums and the fundamentals of interpretation across a range of institutions. Students will examine how interpretation, education and public programming are used to engage individuals, groups, and communities in meaningful and long-term ways. Particular attention will be paid to consideration of the visitor experience as a whole, the evaluation of programming impact, and current innovators in the field. |
