Description During this International Business Planning course you will be presented with a framework within which you will learn to develop a plan of this sort.

To give you the know-how you will need to complete the tasks associated with international business planning, you will learn two major themes: strategic development and effective report writing. This will guarantee a strong foundation for the major output of the course -- the international business plan -- in which you will apply your knowledge, analytical abilities and writing skills to compile a comprehensive term report and presentation to a simulated real-world business audience.

This process will enable you to develop a lucid understanding of international business problems, and to formulate appropriate and effective strategic solutions.

The International Business Planning course will expect you to build on the key concepts you learned in prior international business courses, as you will apply them to intensive international case study analyses. As well, you will devote significant energies throughout the course to strengthening your writing capabilities.

The offering will be comprised of many hands-on activities aside form case studies, including group projects, presentations, written reports and tests.

Your International Business Planning knowledge will allow you to reliably demonstrate the ability to:

•Provide a framework for researching, analyzing, planning and writing a business plan in an international context;
•Integrate existing and newly acquired knowledge of international business pertinent to international business expansion, strategy and development;
•Apply international business concepts regarding finance, marketing, human resources and technology to practical business situations;
•Develop problem-solving and decision-making ability in developing an international business plan;
•Enhance report-writing and oral communication skills in presenting an international business plan;
•Strengthen critical thinking and analytical skills in international business research and information analysis;
•Integrate business strategies regarding human resources, finance, marketing, corporate social responsibility, and cultural and legal requirements to enhance the success of an international business plan.
