Students will gain an overview of the health care organization and commercial sector and the interrelationship of environmental services with other departments. The content includes the roles, responsibilities and communication collaboration as an interprofessional team member, types of healthcare organizations and the significance of their mission statement, types of EVS positions held within a healthcare sector, and the Introduction to healthcare systems in Canada. |
