Course Name	Production Design for Film and Television

Description	This course explores the role production design, including art direction, set decoration, props, scenic paint and construction play across various media including film, television, photography and theatre. In addition to understanding the roles, responsibilities and key collaborative structures, we explore techniques of script breakdown, research and presentation, creating visual support material, the effective use of scenery, props, set dressing and graphics as well as the importance of location filming, set construction, color concepts and budgeting.
