Employer Connections Networking Workshops is a high-level course which teaches students beyond the traditional avenues of job search, how to research organizations and hiring managers, how to create specific portfolios and approach employers using unconventional methods such Power Prospecting, Credible Introductions and Employer Engagements. These workshops are facilitated by a team of successful entrepreneurs called Destination CEO, that have a 90%+ record of connecting job seekers to their dream companies and converting these engagements into successful employed outcomes.

The course focuses on the concept of the fact that 80% of jobs are not advertised, the Hidden Job Market, and opportunities are connected to people, Employer Connections.

The students will learn step-by-step on how to find organizations that are relevant to their careers and their academic / work profiles, research these organizations and their hiring authorities, create specific portfolios highlighting how their skills complement to the organizations' needs / projects and send these portfolios with an invitation to these leaders for the Employer Connections Event.

The result would be one of the following:

• Acknowledgement from the top leader of the organization
• Invitation for an Informational Interview
• Invitation for an actual interview
• Acceptance for the invitation of the Connections Event thus an opportunity to interview
• Opportunity to interview / connect / network with hiring managers of 40+ organizations who will be a part of the Employer Connections Event

The course is designed to run on Saturday's Oct 10th -Nov 7th, 10 AM to 3 PM & Thursday Nov 12 : 6 PM to 10 PM.

Notes **REFUND POLICY for ECWS-600**: Please note that once you have registered for the workshop, a spot has been reserved for you. You are able to get a full refund less a $25.00 admin fee before the FIRST workshop begins. If you fall ill or any other extenuating circumstance and can't complete the workshop once it has started, you MUST be able to provide medical documentation.
