|Description||Evaluating Training and Development provides an overview of the practices involved in assessment and evaluation in the training process.
The offering includes theory and application such as lectures, class discussions, case analysis and simulated exercises for measuring training effectiveness from a qualitative and quantitative perspective.
Through this balanced approach, you will become familiar with three different evaluation models, and a variety of evaluation and assessment techniques that can be used to gain an understanding of the needs of learners and stakeholders.
In Evaluating Training and Development, you will be tested on evaluation terminology, complete a presentation and costing exercises, and assignments that will look at evaluation instruments and an evaluation plan.
Completion of this undertaking will ensure you have the ability to:
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of training and development programs;
• Develop a 4-5 level evaluation plan for an education or training program;
• Calculate the financial costs of implementing an evaluation plan.
