Description Small Engine Repair is a practical course focusing on the basics of two- and four-stroke engine operation.

In a lab format with time for practical work, you will learn to diagnose, repair and maintain your gas-powered lawn care equipment, with discussions on how engines, carburetion and ignition systems work. You will also have the opportunity to bring your gas-powered equipment to class and repair it under the supervision of an expert instructor.

Topics include engine theory, health and safety, fuel systems, electrical basics, and ignition types.

Completion of the Small Engine Repair course will give you solid working knowledge of air-cooled two- and four-stroke engines.

Please note: CSA-approved safety boots and safety glasses will be required for admittance to all lab classes. Failure to comply in any lab will result in a temporary dismissal from the class.
