| Description | This course is equivalent to ECEP-226and ECEP-245 Prospective graduates will collaborate in selecting a placement setting, specific to their needs and interests. Competencies, including curriculum design and implementation skills, will be reinforced and consolidated. Students will continue to build resources that support a responsive project-based approach to planning. Prerequisite: Completion of all other ECE courses, including two practicums. Prior Learning and Recognition (PLAR) credit is not granted for this course. Additional purchase: Field Practicum Manual available at the college bookstore. |
| Notes | Notes: 1.This is a planned experience of 25 days (eight hours per day) with one five day block if possible in a Centennial College-approved field setting under supervision. Once registered, please e-mail Lynn Haines at lhaines@centennialcollege.ca to arrange your placement. All students are required to attend the first Seminar Class for Field Orientation or you will not be able to start your placement this semester (all seminars are mandatory for success). 2. A current Police Reference Check Medical and First Aid/CPR Certificate are required for the Practicum. Please obtain before class begins and bring to the first seminar 3. Prior Learning and Recognition (PLAR) is not granted for this course. |
