| Description | This course introduces students to many different career paths that follow under the communications and media umbrella. After taking this course, students will be able to understand the difference between news media, public relations, long-form storytelling and fiction work, and will have a working knowledge of what goes into the production of each form. Students will also receive an introduction to presentation skills, both for on-air and in-person speaking engagements, and to research skills. |
