|Description||So, you want to be a sportswriter? Centennial College&#039;s School of Continuing Education gives journalism students and professionals an opportunity to see how the world of sports media works, and how to produce the basic building block of all sports sections - the Canadian Press-style Game Over. Featuring a number of guest speakers from the world of sports media, and an opportunity to use your skills in a hands-on way. This course is taught by Malcolm Kelly, 19 years as a sports journalist and a best-selling sports author.
|Notes||Prerequisite for Sports Journalism: JO-211/JO-200 (for students currently enrolled in fulltime programs 6412 or 6402); for all others a minimum of two semesters in a journalism program OR a minimum of one year&amp;amp;amp;#039;s experience reporting for a newspaper, portfolio to be provided.
