|Description||This program is designed to assist students in gaining the basic skill requirements within the Food Healthcare Industry. This program provides students with an exposure to menu planning, portion control, food procurement, quality food preparation and production, role of production staff, equipment and quality improvement.
Proper Uniform required: scrub uniform, College crest (available at the Bookstore, Progress Campus), non slip closed heel shoes, hairnet, and blue jeans are not allowed. Knife set/thermometer also need to be purchased from the Progress Campus bookstore.
It is strongly recommended that you register for this course after completing FSWR-103 and FSWR-104.
Some labs may be scheduled on Saturdays.
This course is 45 hours.
