|Description||A provincial certification! The instructor-led course builds on the concepts presented in the EM 125 Exercise Programs: an Introduction self - study training offered by Emergency Management Ontario accessible through EMO training portal.
Exercise Program Management course prepares you to design, develop, conduct, control, evaluate and implement exercise requirement for discussion-based exercise, specifically a tabletop exercise. The course is comprised of classroom sessions and practical activities. You will also have the opportunity to design and participate in a simulated exercise.
PRE-REQUISITES: Must have completed
1.) EM 125 Exercise Programs: an introduction: this course is a self-study course available on the Emergency Management Ontario Training Portal.
2.)AND One of the following courses, either or:
Basic Emergency Management (BEM), EMO provincial certification or
Basic Emergency Management First Nations, EMO provinicial certification
|Notes||DURATION/ DELIVERY: two days in classroom course over a weekend at Morningside Campus. The course is facilitated by professional/ experts instructors.
CERTIFICATE: Upon successful completion, Provincial Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) Certification.
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TRAINING
This course is recommended for individuals with responsibilities and requirements of conducting emergency exercises in their workplace and or participating as part of conducting exercises with key stakeholders.
Amongst, security, emergency management, business continuity planning programs managers, exercise training officers, and emergency services officials, exercise planners, from all sectors and industries.
