Data Modeling DARP-301
|Course Name||Data Modeling|
|Category||Information Technology & Computers|
|Description||This course introduces data design and data modeling and the importance of how data behaves and what it means to an organization.
Data modeling uses symbols and text to precisely describe data and the relationships in business processes. You will understand the different types of data models and learn how data models help document requirements and define the system. Data models can be used with various tool sets such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) Class Diagrams, spreadsheets, or State Transition Diagrams.
Data modeling is understanding the data better so you can suggest compromises and understand the risk factors that accompany them. All of the models used in this course are designed with the purpose of simplifying complex information into real world designs.
