|Description||MIG Welding is a hands-on offering that provides you with an understanding of machine setup, personal and shop safety, flat positional welding and vertical welding.
Through lectures, safety videos, power point presentations and a range of lab work, you will come to understand all you need to know about MIG welding. The labs include: basic MIG welder maintenance, welder setup, running a bead, butt weld, lap weld, "T" joint and corner joint.
Once you complete the MIG Welding course, you will have the ability to:
• Perform setup procedures for welding on steel;
• Perform basic MIG welding.

Please note: You must wear coveralls or non-synthetic clothing and provide your own safety boots or shoes. Eye protection will be supplied. It is highly recommended that you bring your own eye protection.
