Pneumatics 2 CERB-502
|Course Name||Pneumatics 2|
|Category||Engineering Technology & Applied Science|
|Description||A follow-up to the initial course, Pneumatics 2 focuses on the operation and design of industrial pneumatic control circuitry.
The course includes an examination of control system basics, valves and actuators (such as cylinders, air motors, air/oil systems), logic sequencers, intensifiers and inching circuits, pilot circuitry, air logic systems, cascaded systems and more.
You will complete labs and assignments that, along with attendance, mid-term exam and final exam, make up your grade.
On successfully completing this course, you will know how to:
• Design, assemble and troubleshoot automatic and manual pneumatic pilot control circuits;
• Be familiar with standard methods for developing safe reliable control circuits.
