Description Project Communication and Team Building will focus on teaching you how essential effective communication and project teamwork are for project management success.

As such, you will review organizational behaviour and motivational theory in the context of team building with a particular focus on managing structure, process, culture and communications for a successful project outcome.

Among specific topics covered in Project Communication and Team Building will be motivation in the workplace and applied performance practices, motivation in action, conflict and dispute resolution, decision making, creativity and ethics.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

•Discuss the development of the field of organizational behaviour and explain the micro and macro approaches;
•Analyze and compare different models used to explain individual behaviour related to motivation and rewards;
•Identify the processes used in developing communication and resolving conflicts in a project environment;
•Explain group dynamics and demonstrate skills required for working in groups (team building) in a project environment;
•Identify the various leadership styles and the role of leaders in a decision making process;
•Discuss the implementation of organizational change in a project environment.
