| Description | This course will assist the Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse to acquire knowledge of basic arrhythmia interpretation. Including arrhythmias originating from the sinus node, atria, junction, ventricle and atrioventricular block arrhythmias. It will also discuss specific cardiac disorders including pathophysiology, current treatments and relevant nursing interventions of specific disorders and arrhythmias. This course is in a hybrid format with classes online with tutorial support every second week. First class is in class, then alternate between online/in-class. |
