|Description||Motorcycle Engines Level 2 is a continuation of the initial offering, examining areas that were not previously covered.
The focus is on carburetion, lubrication, bearing types, fuel supply, air filters and cooling and exhaust systems. You will learn these aspects of motorcycle engines through lectures, videos and practical work. You will be graded on your attendance and a test.
• Identify separate components and assemblies of a motorcycle carburetor, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems;
• Conduct basic carburetor tune-up, strip-down and rebuild procedures;
• Complete additional engine tune up procedures such as valve clearances and compression checking, with the aid of an appropriate manual.

Please note: CSA-approved safety boots and safety glasses will be required for admission to all lab classes. Failure to comply in any lab will result in a temporary dismissal from the class. .
