Description In this course, students will prepare themselves both personally and professionally to enter and excel in a career in the biotechnology industry. This course is offered in a blended learning format such that 2 hours per week will be online learning, and 2 hours per week will occur in a face-to-face setting. The learning process will include a mix of interactive small group activities, inquiry-based learning modules, and practical experiential exercises. The content is divided into five learning modules: 1. Personal and Professional Development; 2. Effective Science Communication and Etiquette; 3. Laboratory Best Practices; 4. Biotechnology Laboratory Automation; 5. Entrepreneurship, leadership and lifelong learning
