Description Many classical pastries such as pies, cakes, and tarts remain the all-time favorites of any bakeshop. Mastering the fundamentals of cake and pie production allows bakers to create almost any variety of baked goods desired. During this six week course, students will also practice masking techniques while creating cream, fillings and other preparations essential to produce multi-layered cakes, sponge rolls, Bavarian creams, flans and tarts.
Notes BAKE 100 is a pre-requisite for this course and must be completed before beginning this course.

A Centennial College Chef uniform is required for this course.
