|Description||In Advanced Managerial Accounting you will be introduced to conceptual understanding of the role of management accounting.
The lectures, discussions, and in-class and group work will cover topics such as: relevant costing, capital budgeting, transfer pricing, balanced scorecard, inventory management, variance and profitability analysis, performance measurement and compensation, and the application of management accounting concepts and techniques to support business decision making.
Among the hands-on activities included in Advanced Managerial Accounting will be two case studies. The first will deal with variance and customer profitability analysis. The second will look at capital budgeting and performance measurement.
