Description Due to the increasing demand for administrators in retirement communities, Centennial College is excited to offer the Retirement Communities Management program in partnership with Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA). ORCA is a voluntary non-profit association that represents operators of retirement residences in Ontario. An ORCA Accredited home has successfully undergone a full operational review of all provincial regulations and best operational practices necessary to operate a retirement home in Ontario. All retirement homes are now regulated under the Retirement Homes Act, and licensed and inspected by the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority (RHRA). The ORCA accreditation designation is recognized by the public, stakeholders and government as an assurance of quality standards in retirement living that ensures a safe, comfortable and quality environment for residents.

This program is offered ideally to those candidates with an academic background or managerial experience in a related health or business discipline. The competency-based curriculum will prepare you for a challenging, dynamic management career in a recognized sector.

Admissions Requirements Applicants must have successfully completed a recognized post-secondary institution degree or diploma and/or have relevant management/work experience.
